Hello, Old Friends! I’ve Got an Announcement . . .

Hello!!!! I am so sorry that it’s been so long!  You’ve been keeping me busy, though, with emails and lots of good conversations about your health, your food, and your families.  I should have turned these emails into FAQs for sure, but our house has been turned upside down, and as a matter of fact, [...]

Finishing Our Summer List!

I’ve been in a learning frenzy the past few days.  I’ve been reading everything I can get my hands on, and hopefully I’ll have some useful information for you in the coming days.  It all started last week when I looked at our summer “Fun Things to Do List” and saw that there were a [...]

Ordering a Vitamix

Hi!  We just got back from a very nice little vacation.   It’s the first one that I can remember taking as a parent where I actually feel relaxed, and will not require a second vacation to recover from the first!  The girls had fun playing with their cousins and we just hung out.  Beautiful!

Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead

I just finished watching a documentary called “Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead”.  It was fascinating.  The main person in the movie suffers from the same hives as I did, but it took him nine YEARS to figure out it was caused by food.  And he was incredibly wealthy and saw a million doctors who couldn’t [...]

Kathleen’s “Cinnamon Twist”

Last week I told you guys that Kathleen had been reading one of her American Girl books and it had a recipe for putting sugar and cinnamon on popcorn.  She thought it would taste the same if we replaced the sugar with stevia.  Let me just tell you that it was good.  Like Cinnamon Toast [...]

Got Milk? Try – Not Milk!

I know this is not going to sit well with a lot of you.  I refused to believe it for years.  The first time I heard that cow’s milk was less than ideal for human bodies was about ten years ago, and I thought it was just the silliest thing I’d ever heard.  I mean, [...]

Chrissy Snow, My Teacher – Who Knew?

Two different friends contacted me this week to get a neurology referral for their children.  I don’t know about you, but I didn’t know anyone who had to see a neurologist when I was little.  I’m not being naive, I mean of course neurology as a field existed, but I can name a handful of [...]
