Somehow I stumbled upon a little product called Artisana Cacao Bliss.  I will never be the same.  This is the item that I alluded to a few days ago when I said that in spite of not having a sweet tooth, the first few (more than once, less than 5) times I tried it I ate so much that I went to bed in the fetal position holding my stomach and cursing my lack of will power.

It’s pretty expensive at $10/8 oz. jar, but all over the internet you can find people who are absolutely obsessed with it and would pay any amount asked.  Here is the blurb from their website:

I wouldn’t have been quite so eloquent to say that it “melts in your mouth in sweet celebration”, but I assure you, it does!  It’s like a much-better-for-you version of Nutella.  Actually, to compare, Nutella’s Ingredients are: SUGAR, PALM OIL, HAZELNUTS, COCOA, SKIM MILK, REDUCED MINERALS WHEY (MILK), LECITHIN AS EMULSIFIER (SOY), VANILLIN: AN ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR.

I melt it on strawberry slices for the girls and they go nuts for it!  Some people eat it straight out of the jar, as well.  I found a website that I like in which she documents her love (in a pretty amusing picture) for Cacao Bliss, as well as her homemade recipe for it.  2/3 of my taste testers preferred the Artisana version, but all samples were thoroughly enjoyed and licked clean!  Check it out!
