My Sweet Weakness

Somehow I stumbled upon a little product called Artisana Cacao Bliss.  I will never be the same.  This is the item that I alluded to a few days ago when I said that in spite of not having a sweet tooth, the first few (more than once, less than 5) times I tried it I ate so much that I went to bed in the fetal position holding my stomach and cursing my lack of will power.

School’s Back . . . So Am I!

I can’t believe summer is over.  I had given myself the deadline of labor day to begin posting again, but as you can see that came and went!  I don’t know why it’s been so much harder to find the time to do it this year as opposed to last, but  I feel as though I haven’t had a spare second.  I have, however, managed to eek out the time to become obsessed with the show Friday Night Lights (0n Netflix), so perhaps the problem lies in my priorities!

Hello, hello!  We’ve been sick and our basement flooded, but things are on the up and up now, so I thought I’d check in with a topic that I get asked about a lot – washing my face with natural products.

Dr. Oz – “What’s Happening to Our Girls?”

This is disturbing.  Dr. Oz is looking at why girls are entering puberty at age 7 or 8.  Seven or Eight.  Human years of age.  What?  At seven years old I was still relatively fresh at living life without sucking my thumb.  Now, girls today have so much more to deal with and it’s just not fair.  Is there something we can do about it, though?
